I am thirty-two years old and I weigh 201 pounds. I have been on Weight Watchers for three years now. I have lost 63.8 pounds and am still in need of losing about 50 more pounds. I was never active as a kid and avoided any form of activity like the plague. After a year of Weight Watchers, I decided to become more active so I joined the gym. I have since done several 5K races, a 10K, a half-marathon and for my most important achievement to me, I finished the Danskin women’s triathlon in 2007 and 2008. Last year, I got hurt while training for my half-marathon. My sciatic nerve started causing me trouble so it has taken me over a year now to get started being active again. It’s been tough and my lower back still bothers me. I may never run again, but I will be active.
